  1. Why is the date of when the ad was placed not shown?
    We have chosen not to show the date of when the ad was placed, because it should not make any difference as long as the person who placed the ad is still interested in it. When you view the headlines of the ads, they are sorted with the most recently placed (or modified) ads first. Thus, the newer ads will appear before the ones you have already seen. Also, we require the advertisers to check their ad on a regular basis to keep the ad active. This ensures that the advertiser is still interested in the ad (regardless of when it was placed).
  2. When I tried to see the details of some ads I get the message: This ad is temporarily not accepting responses. Please try again later. What does this mean?
    Our system allows the advertisers to temporarily disable responses to their ads. So when you see such messages it means that the person who placed the ad is either on vacation for a while or has begun serious correspondence with someone and is temporarily not accepting new responses.
  3. The contact information given in the ad is incorrect, what should I do?
    It may be that the persons email address, phone number, etc. has changed, but they have not yet updated the ad. Since we try to provide a descrete service, we do not require any information other then what they chose to give in the ad. So the only thing to do is to check the ad again at a later time.
  4. I have sent a response to an ad, but have not gotten any reply. Is there any way to know if the advertiser has received it ?
    Unfortunately there is no way to track whether email messages sent have been read by the recipient. There could be many reasons why the advertiser has not replied. It may be that they are on vacation or unable to access their email system; maybe the return address you provided is incorrect; maybe their email address has changed; maybe they aren't interested. If the advertiser provided other contact information, you should try that. Otherwise, assume they are not interested and move on. You can check the ad again some time later to see if the contact information has been updated.
  5. I have scanned through all the ads, but have not found anyone suitable for me ?
    Although there are many ads on the system, our server statistics indicate that there are many more people just viewing the ads. So our suggestion is: take a bold step and place an ad. You will be suprised at the number of responses you get. Just click on the "Registration Form" option on the home page and fill out the form.
  6. I placed an ad, but it didn't get posted and I can't even check its status, why ?
    One of the most common mistakes people make when placing their ad is to think the ad has been placed when in fact they just submit and don't wait for thanks page and leave it unfinished. We can't process it and they didn't get it posted. When placing an ad remember that the ad is not complete until you get to the "Thank You" (for placing an ad) page.
  7. Can I make changes or corrections to my existing ad ?
    Yes, you can make minor changes to your ad. Just select the "Modify" option from the homepage.
  8. How can I place a photo in my ad and what are the cost involved ?
    The easiest way to include a picture in your ad is to give the full URL of where your picture is located in the "Photo" section when placing your ad. For example:
    http://www.aol.com/users/mydirs/image.gif
    There is no additional cost for including a photo in your ad. However, if your photo is not already scanned and accessible on the Internet we can provide this service for you free of cost. If you need both scanning and hosting service then send the photo by mail or e-mail to the address below. We will take care of getting it into your ad. Be sure to include your ad code when you mail in the photo. Include a self addressed stamped envelope so that we may return the photo.
    Remember ! its a free service.
  9. How can I keep my contact details confidential ?
    This is very easy to keep your contact details confidential as you have to simply specify your preference while filling our Registration Form in the form of Yes or No. If you opt for "No" then we are not going to disclose your contact details to the visitor on our site.
  10. How can I receive responses if my contact details are kept confidential ?
    To receive the response to your advertisement can be accessed by e-mail. For more details please click here.
  11. What is the expiry period of a matrimonial advert ?
    We will display your advertisement for a period of not more than six months and the advertisements will be deleted automatically without any further notice and any obligation on our part. However if you want to keep your advertisement sustain even beyond the expiry period please do inform us by mail or e-mail or fill our modify form.
  12. Do you return photograph after scanning and hosting ?
    Yes. We will return your photograph after scanning and hosting if you include a self addressed envelope.
